Plastic bags lie discarded in all corners of the city.
Here, instead of lying as forgotten trash, they take the form of plants in a field.
Their stalks of reclaimed scrap metal bend slightly in the wind.
Their plastic strands are carried in the wind with a rustling sound.
During the Month of October they stood witness to the changing colors of the plants around them
in the garden of Studio Bildende Kunst in Lichtenberg, Berlin. commissioned for the festival Kunstkreuz 2015: Genug ist nicht genug? Ein Kulturmonat zum Thema Bedürfnisse & Ressourcen |
